ANNOUNCEMENT: As per the Associated Student Body of Coleman Tech Charter High School's March 14, 2014 meeting minutes, the following amendments have been made to the Suspension policy.
The following rule and regulation: "must be in good standing behaviorally from WINTER TERM (January 22nd)," has been amended to state that "must not be on suspension-explosion from the WINTER TERM (January 22nd). "

CTCHS Prom REGULATIONS
1. ASB Dances are for CTCHS students. Students who attend another school may attend the dance as a guest of a CTCHS student. Both a guest pass and current school photo ID are required for a guest to attend the dance.
The forfeiture of the ticket cost
· The loss of admission to the dance
· Possible further disciplinary action
· A phone call home/student released to a parent/guardian
· The loss of future dance participation privileges
You will submit to a Breathalyzer at the door or you will not be permitted to enter.
No refunds will be issued if you purchase a ticket prior to receiving the most recent grading period report or if you are suspended prior to May 4th.
All sales are final when approved, if a violation occurs after ticket purchase student can be turned away at the door.
Students will have to submit to a breathalyzer test at the door, if refused student will not be allowed to enter premises.
Guests:
Prom is a Upperclassman event(Junior/ Senior), Underclassman are welcome as a guest and are required to have the underclassman release form filled out upon ticket purchase. The form is linked below.
~Guests must be under the age of 20 at the time of the Dance.
~Guests must be in at least the 9th grade and require a parent permission slip if 15 and under.
~Guests must have a Dance permission slip and Valid ID turned in at time of purchase.
~Current Attendance and behavior must be in good standing and you must meet all prom regulations to go.

CTCHS Prom REGULATIONS

- A current school photo ID card is required to purchase a ticket AND to enter the dance.
- A current GPA of 2.0 from the most recent grading period.
- Must be in good standing behaviorally from JAN 17 thru Prom. NO suspensions & etc.
- No fines, all students and guests must be current with the front office at time of purchase.
- NO REFUNDS.
- Students who leave the dance may not re-enter and must immediately leave campus or facility, including the parking lots.
- No inappropriate or sexually explicit dancing. Do not use positions or moves that are suggestive of sexual behavior (i.e. grinding, groping of private parts, hiking up skirts, hand on the floor, any train of people [unless it’s a conga line] or any other type of gesture or behavior that is provocative in nature.) Inappropriate dancing is grounds for removal from this event and suspension from future ASB sponsored dances and activities.
- The CTCHS Dress Code will be enforced.
- There is a zero tolerance policy for alcohol and/or drug violations and will result in school discipline and police action.
- All school rules and consequences, as outlined in the CTCHS Handbook apply.
- A parent or guardian is expected to pick up their child immediately at the end of the dance, no later than 11:15pm.
